Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing

Website hosting is provided by an external service provider, netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. A Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO has been concluded with netcup. Hosting is necessary for the operation of the website and for the performance of the existing service contract, and is carried out without requiring your consent.

Some processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw any consent already given at any time. A simple notification by e-mail is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

As a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of a data protection infringement pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6(1)(c) DSGVO and Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies we use and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is not required by contract and is not a prerequisite for entering into a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. If you do not provide your personal data, we will be unable to manage your consents.

Newsletter Distribution

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store and process your personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, IP address, date and time of registration). The purpose is the regular distribution of information by e-mail. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO.

For the management of registration forms as well as the dispatch and administration of the newsletter, we use the service Kajabi, provided by Kajabi, LLC, 17100 Laguna Canyon Road, #100, Irvine, CA 92603, USA (hereinafter “Kajabi”). Kajabi processes data on our behalf. A Data Processing Agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO has been concluded with Kajabi. Kajabi enables us to evaluate whether newsletter messages have been opened and which links have been clicked (tracking). We use this data solely to optimise the content of our newsletters. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO; you may withdraw your consent to this evaluation at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Note on data transfers to the United States: Kajabi is a provider based in the USA. The transfer of your personal data to the USA is carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) DSGVO, which form part of the Data Processing Agreement with Kajabi. An adequate level of data protection is thereby contractually ensured.

Double Opt-In Procedure

Following registration, you will receive an e-mail in which you must confirm your subscription. The subscription only becomes active upon confirmation. This procedure is designed to prevent the unauthorised use of your e-mail address.

Withdrawal and Unsubscription

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. Alternatively, a simple notification by e-mail is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected.

Retention Period

Your data will be stored until you cancel your newsletter subscription or withdraw your consent.
